The Power Within

The Power Within was a fully-funded program in partnership with Plan International Canada, with support from Women and Gender Equality Canada and Unilever Dove Self-Esteem Project, all of which made this program accessible, with no direct cost to parents.
​
Through a series of six workshops, youths aged 10-14 (girls and gender diverse youths) learned and applied skills for body-confidence, self-esteem, and social connections with friends, family, classmates, and beyond.

Week 2: Appearance Ideals & Appearance Pressures
Week 3: Social Media's Influence
Week 4: Tools to Build Self-Esteem
Week 5: Health & Bodies

Participants received a completion certificate at the end of the 6-week program.
